TrailerMate is a simple and inexpensive rear- mounted reversing sensor system ideally suited for articulated trailers but can just as easily be used on rigids. The system greatly increases pedestrian safety as well as reducing damage to the trailer, the loading bay and customer property.

As the driver reverses towards the blind-spot obstacle, he is warned of the unseen danger via two fully waterproof forwards-facing LED stalks affixed to the trailer/body which change
colour as the obstacle nears. This colour change is easily seen in both side mirrors.

Green = vehicle @ 2.5m distance from obstacle
Green/Blue = vehicle @ 1.5m
Blue = vehicle @ 0.5m

TrailerMate is a 12/24v system and is powered by the trailer reverse lamp feed. This simple stand alone design negates the need for any cab display and expensive additional suzie connections.
