The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires employers to provide and maintain systems of work which are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe. The Act also requires employers to take all reasonably practicable precautions to ensure the safety of their workers and members of the public.

This essential training course is designed to explain the guidelines of the code of practice written specifically for this subject.

  • Vehicle appearance, markings, warning beacons and equipment required
  • Personal specification for self-escorting
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • General operating practices
  • Thresholds for self-escorting
  • Documentation required

Escorting training is carried out on customers’ premises

Available for a maximum of 8 delegates each session.

Course Duration: up to 4 hours

Cost includes an information booklet, full seminar handouts and a certificate of attendance.
